The left bank is edged by a railing with two men and their dogs standing beside it. There are a number of buildings visible to the extreme left. The right bank has a number of trees which are growing right down to the edge of the water. There is a white border surround with the title printed in black at the bottom centre. There is a message in blue ink on the reverse and it is addressed to London, England. There is a blue 3p stamp in the top right hand corner. It is postmarked ‘Cluain Meala II-VIII 1964.’
